Bike Recoveries

My son and friend found my bike up against a tree at local park

Police contacted me saying they have recovered the bike.

Bicycle was stolen from Southampton by organised crime gang and two years on was recently discovered in the back of a van heading to Romania along with a bunch of other stolen bikes. Thanks to bike register I’ve been re-united with my bike and hopefully the other stolen bike owners have been too! Great work by Port of Dover Police Force. This really is a miracle story as it’s been almost two years. Excellent to see the Police and Bike Register are wrecking the thieves plans!

Bike was removed by Access

Found abandoned nearby. Finder took it in and contacted the police. They also used this website and a similar one and found my posts about the bike and contacted me. Thank you for providing this service!

Alerted by stolen-bikes.co.uk of ad on Facebook Marketplace. Went to buy and looked at frame number. Bike register sticker taken off.

I found the bike on Facebook and went to view. I informed the police beforehand and they weren't interested, in fact I'm still waiting for them to call me back.

Apparently handed in last sept and Police kindly contacted me earlier this month to collect it. Delighted!

I saw a kid on my bike. I hold my bike and told him GET OFF! While he was getting off I show him the picture of my bike ! He then realised that was my bike! He told me a random guy sold it to him ! I then reply « go see that guy and tell him to give you your money back! Then I left…

Contacted by someone who knew the people who had taken my bike.

Someone found it in the city and handed in a police station.

K Wasiluk informed me the stolen bike posted in Gumtree. Great THANKS!!! Then I contacted Met Police to get back my Son's bike in a second hand shop.
