Bike Recoveries

A very kind lady found a bike that looked like mine dumped in woods near her home. She went to the trouble of contacting me through this site before sending me a photo of it. I said I would tom have like a closer look, so she took me to where she had spotted it and, lo and behold, the serial numbers matched! It had a different saddle, the pedal clips and mudguards had been removed, but it is now back in my possession. Thank you Hayley, thank you!

RECOVERED THROUGH MY SAMSUNG SMART TAG

Friend saw kid riding it and stopped him. Kid was honest bought it off his dodgy mate for £60. Mentioned this had happened before as the last bike he'd bought had turned out to be stolen as well. Bought back from kid for £60. Not ideal but glad to have it back (sans the mini pump and my prescription sunnies!)

I found it locked up across the road.

I was contacted by someone who found my bike and found me through BikeRegister. They kept my bike safe for me and I was able to make arrangements for its collection.

Found in bike shop and forced to buy back from the owner. Recovered from ‘Professional Bike Shop and Service’, 691 WIMBORNE ROAD WINTON BH9 2AT

Been contacted by someone from the police saying that they’ve found my bike whilst executing a warrant at an address in Aberdeen for a different reason.

Bike was advertised on ebay after 6 months and still had very unique bottle cage. Worked with police and did some ebay detective work to find address and police recovered it on the night that we got a house number.
