Bike Recoveries

Police found the bike in an 'unrelated male's' garden around 25 September 2021, the month after it was stolen. T/DC Isabel Morris was my main contact and PC Nicholas Crosby took my details. They kept it for several months while they were investigating and I picked it up in January 2022.

A good samaritan found my bicycle dumped in brambles in Tottenham Marshes, contacted my bike store who got me into contact with him. We met up and I got it back!

Found on facebook marketplace a couple of weeks later. The seller wasn't the thief themselves, just explained it was mine and proved it with the frame number

I found my stolen bike on marketplace and informed the police of the name, address and even school the person worked at, after no help and going around in very stressful circles for over a week. I finally conceded they wouldn’t help so I arranged a pickup to the ‘seller’ through a friend and went and retrieved my bike myself. 1 month later, I have my bike back with ABSOLUTLEY no thanks to west midlands police, the four stations I visited or 100’s of calls.

Recovered days after theft and without any damage

Bike spotted on Facebook Marketplace, recovered with the assistance of the Metropolitan Police.

Bike returned to Gym where it was originally stolen from but had been modified. Police are looking into this

I bought it back for a cheap price from a local seller by telling them that I'm the owner and I have a police report to prove it. I showed the report on my phone and recovered my bike

I spotted a traveler kid aimlessly driving around on it and detained him. He fled on foot before an gardai could come

found as stolen on FB market place. police were useless and didn't help at all to retrieve from the thief.

I was contacted by Dorset police. Someone had reoprted the bike abandoned in an alleyway. The thieves had been unable to remove the D Lock
