Bike Recoveries

Following day in the morning decided to report to my nearest police station and 4 hours later I had a call from bikeregister saying someone found my bike that I could go and collected. I’m very pleased as I manage to get my bike in very good shape and nothing was missing except the locker bike.

I found it on my own as it was advertised on Facebook. I had to buy it back as police would not assist. I found quite useless the FAQ page of BikeRegister as there's no mention at all of what to do for stolen bike, like suggestions. Hope this can be sorted soon.

I was contacted that my bike had been recovered, three years and 30 miles from the original location. They emphasised Bine Register Registration was the only way they were able to contact me.

Official Stolen Bikes Cambridge facebook group alerted me to where this had been abandoned

I managed to spot my bicycle, being ridden by an individual close to my home. I carefully followed and observed them lock the bike. After the individual entered their premises, I inspected the bike. Frame number and QR code matched. Pannier rack had been removed, and spray paint had been applied to disguise my bike. I phone 999, as a passer by and neighbor advised the individual was extremely violent. Police assisted in me reclaiming my bike. Althought the individual would not answer to the police knocking at their door. Action will be taken by police im due course

Bike was found in undergrowth abandoned with rear puncture at SILVERLAKE WARMWELL CROSSWAYS DORSET DT2 8GA

I was informed by friends of my sons that they had found my bike and brought it back to me.

I reported the attempted theft of my bike and the damage to my locks and front wheel. The bike was not stolen

Been recovered by police and returned to address
