I was contacted via Bike Register by a member of the public who had spotted the bike abandoned on the street, and arranged to return it to me today. (He's apparently just had his bicycle stolen, in exactly the same way this one was — someone went into his garden shed and too it. Probably the same person responsible, we're guessing.)
Anyway, way to go Bike Register! Definitely worth registering and marking your bicycle.
