Secure Asset Register (SAR) has just been launched to the public and now offers free registration.

Secure Asset Register is now the only Secured by Design approved*, free-to-use property register for both the public and the police.

Police and public can access the database at secureassetregister.com free of charge to check ownership of recovered property and reunite items with owners.

Initially, the free registration is set at 10 assets per user. Users can then upgrade to a SelectaDNA kit if they have more than 10 items of property they wish to register and if they want to mark their property and benefit from the deterrent value of the warning stickers supplied with the kit.

Secure Asset Register was developed in 2010 by Selectamark, the security company that runs BikeRegister and produces SelectaDNA forensic marking products, to meet the growing need for police and insurance approved online property registers.

Secure Asset Register is tested and certified to the Loss Prevention Certification Board’s LPS1224 Issue 3, and is the only free-to-use property database to hold this sought after standard. Selectamark is also certified to ISO 27001:2013 for its Information Security Management system.

This combination of database and information security accreditations sets Secure Asset Register apart from any other property registers.
