Professor Gets Bike Marked On Way To Receive Knighthood

A very worthy cyclist had his bike marked recently by the Metropolitan Police's Cycle Safety Team as he was en route to Buckingham Palace to receive a knighthood for his work on Alzheimer's disease.

Simon Lovestone was cycling to the palace to raise funds and awareness for dementia research. Simon is professor of translational neuroscience at the University of Oxford. He is a specialist in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.

Congratulations on your knighthood Sir Simon Lovestone!
