Hackney Loan Bikes Marked
1 Jul 2015A CYCLE loan scheme in the London Borough of Hackney is proving popular with residents who are able to borrow a bike for a month at a cost of just £10.
If at the end of the month the resident wants to buy the bike, the scheme offers discount prices.
The Hackney Cycle Loan scheme started in September 2014 and around 300 bikes have been loaned out so far, with each bike marked and registered to BikeRegister before it goes out.
