Colchester Cyclist Reclaims Stolen Bike Thanks to BikeRegister

A cyclist from Colchester was reunited with her bike earlier this month, when it was stolen outside her local shopping centre, thanks to BikeRegister.

Jean managed to track down her bike, to find that someone else had claimed ownership of it. However, she was able to prove that she was the rightful owner through scanning the QR code found on the BikeRegister sticker, facilitating in the successful recovery.
Jean has spoken about her experience, saying: "Cycling has been an integral part of my life since childhood. It’s not just about transport; it’s about freedom, health, and sustainability.
"Registering your bike might seem like a small step, but it can make a huge difference, as my experience shows.”
