Love Your Bike

As more people have taken up cycling since lockdown, West Midlands Railway have teamed up with Transport for West Midlands and Cycling UK to fund a series of “Love Your Bike” cycle safety sessions located at some of their busiest stations.

The Love your Bike sessions are free, drop-in events being held at stations including Sandwell & Dudley, Selly Oak, Stourbridge Junction and Sutton Coldfield.

Cyclists can bring their bikes along for a free safety check, BikeRegister bike marking and the chance to win or buy a ‘D-lock’.

Brenda Lawrence, Head of Stations commented: “Helping our customers travel sustainably is a priority for us, which is why we’re proud to support these bike safety and security sessions with our partners. We’re also investing in thousands of secure cycle spaces supported by CCTV across our network to help passengers travel with confidence.”
