Anna Johnson from bike servicing company HaveBike had her beloved Bianchi bike stolen from Victoria Street in London.
She recalls: “How the thief got through a D-lock with all those shoppers around… who knows! I registered my bike as “Stolen” on BikeRegister and two days later I was contacted to say that my bike had been found!
It turns out that the thief probably didn’t know much about my old down-tube gears, and being fed up, dumped my bike in Cycle Republic Euston and cycled off with one of their new bikes instead. I can only hope their bike was registered too!
Thank you so much BikeRegister and Cycle Republic for re-uniting this very happy cyclist with her old but much-loved bike!”
