BikeRegister is G-Cloud 12 Approved

BikeRegister has been approved and is now listed on the G-Cloud 12 Digital Marketplace, a government framework that is managed by Crown Commercial Services (CCS).

This platform was created to simplify the procurement process of cloud-based technology for public sector bodies by eliminating the lengthy tender process. All the companies listed must go through a lengthy application process before either being accepted or rejected by the CCS. This means that only the companies with the highest levels of security and support are approved to be added to the marketplace.

BikeRegister is the UK's National Cycle Database with over 970,000 registered bikes. Registration of bicycles is free and bicycle owners can purchase bike marking kits to protect their bicycles from theft. The database is used by all UK police forces to combat cycle theft and reduce cycle crime.

Selectamark Security Systems Plc, which runs BikeRegister in the UK, has 5 cloud software solutions listed on G-Cloud 12 overall, the other being Secure Asset Register, powered by SelectaDNA, Asset Register, School Asset Register and UK Crime Figures.
