What colour is the Permanent Marking Kit?

The Permanent Marking Kit comes with a dark blue marking compound that contains a UV element which is visible under police ultraviolet lights. Therefore if you are marking a dark blue or black frame, the marking may not be visible until you shine a UV torch on it. On frames of any other colour, the marking will be visible to the naked eye.

Police forces across the country are trained to search for UV markings on bikes and other types of property, so you should not be concerned about this.
